Extreme Cowboy Race

It tests the patience, training ability and trust between horse and rider. It tests skills, images/rider_thru_ribbons.gifit tests attitude and it tests control. Extreme Cowboy Race is just that – it’s extreme – it’s cowboy and it’s a race to the finish.

Internationally renowned horse trainer, Craig Cameron, created the Extreme Cowboy Race to test horse and rider. Cameron is known throughout the equine community as the Cowboy Clinition and is respected by all disciplines of horsemanship. He is recognized as one of the finest horsemen in the United States.

Extreme Cowboy Race has recently been seen on RFD-TV and is one of their most watched programs. The idea is to test theimages/girl_jumping.gif communication and teamwork between horse and rider. With a choice of 60 standardized challenges, each course will consist of a variety of obstacles. The length of the course and terrain will also vary, providing a different challenge each time.

images/bareback_jumping.gifThursday and Friday (March 18 & 19) the Extreme Cowboy Challenge invites those interested to come try their hand at this new and fun event. Applications for membership in the Extreme Cowboy Association will be available at that time. Saturday and Sunday (March 20 & 21) will be the dates of competition. Bring your horse and give it a whirl!
